Charles Cre Ange, a Paris-based Choreographer, has received numerous awards, among them 1st prize at the Bagnolet competition (chaired by Merce Cunningham). His work has been produced and toured internationally to many festivals including Theatre de la Ville (Paris) and Dance Umbrella (London). His new work with Dance Theatre of Ireland, "Cha-Cha-Cha d'exil". is wild, fun, fast, wide open, with emotion and is set to music by Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, Leftfield, Cake, and Dos Gardenias - the Buena Vista Social Club among others. Phillipe Saire is based in Lausanne, Switzerland and is the Artistic Director of Compagnie Phillipe Saire (founded in 1986) . His creations have been received enthusiastically on numerous tours in more than 100 cities in Europe, the Americas and Asia. Phillipe Saire was awarded the 1998 Prix d'Auteur at the 6th Rencontres Choreographiques Internationales in Seine-St-Denis. He has choreographed more than 15 original works on his company, including Don Quixote, Vacarme and Le Palindrome. His new work with DTI is entitled , "A Question of Distance", with music by Nat King Cole, Marin Marais, Karl Friedrich Abel and Corelli. |
